In 1866 William A. Breyer made ice cream the old-fashioned way - hand cranked. He used all natural fruits, nuts, rich cream and cane sugar. His quality of his product spoke for itself, and the Philadelphia based company grew rapidly.

Today, Breyers is known for creating delicious gourmet ice cream with natural ingredients. The "Pledge of Purity" made by Breyers over one hundred years ago still stands true in every product Breyers makes.
